Police executing a search warrant Wednesday at a Bismarck apartment arrested a woman for allegedly possessing dealer amounts of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin which they say was hidden inside a child’s toy.

Tesa Klesalek, 27, faces one count of felony child neglect, two felony drug charges and three lesser drug charges, court documents show.

Police during the search found 21 grams of methamphetamine worth about $2,000, drug paraphernalia and about $1,200 cash, a police affidavit alleges. Police also found a small rubber vial and two stamp-sized plastic bags of heroin inside the hidden compartment of a dinosaur toy, which they say was on the dining room floor and could have easily been accessed by a child that lived in the home.

Klesalek made her initial court appearance Thursday and will enter pleas later. South Central District Judge Pamela Nesvig set her bail at $2,000 cash. Court documents did not list an attorney for her.
