Police have arrested a man they say held a woman in a Bismarck motel, choked her into unconsciousness, forced himself on her, and stole cash and a bank card from her.
Beuhammad Spiller, 39, is charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition, felonious restraint, terrorizing and conspiring to deliver methamphetamine, among other counts, court documents show.
Police say an argument between the woman and Spiller on Friday escalated, and he physically assaulted and threatened to kill her. Spiller allegedly forced himself on her twice, pulled her back into the room by her hair when she tried to escape and disabled her cellphone to stop her from calling authorities, according to an affidavit. He also allegedly stole her bank card and $260 cash. Police also say they found evidence, including a scale with residue on it, that show Spiller was selling methamphetamine.
