Metro Area Narcotics Task Force officers on Monday and Tuesday conducted surveillance on Crenshaw. They observed several short-duration meetings with several people that appeared to be drug transactions, an affidavit says. Crenshaw also is alleged to have provided an informant with about 2,000 pills from March to June.

Crenshaw is charged with felony conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. He made his initial appearance in South Central District Court on Wednesday and will enter a plea later. Court documents do not list an attorney for him.
