Personal stories of North Dakotans will be performed with choreography by Bismarck native Vanessa Voskuil in “En masse North Dakota” at the state Heritage Center in Bismarck.

The movement-based art performance is at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Russell Reid Auditorium.

Voskuil directed the choreography to celebrate the joy and love in the community. Participants are North Dakota residents, with different backgrounds, ages and performing experience. Each participant created a dance that shared an experience of joy, growth or connection.

There will be a question-and-answer session after each performance.

“The performers are really dedicated to the piece and the process and have worked hard to bring this to the stage,” Voskuil said.
