No one was injured Wednesday evening when three teenage drivers were involved in a short series of rear endings on the Bismarck Expressway.
North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that 17-year-old Karli Pazdernik, of Mandan, rear-ended Alexia Berube, 18, of Montana, on the Expressway just north of the BNSF bridge.
Berube's vehicle, in turn, rear-ended 17-year-old Cortnie Mongeon, of Mandan, with minor damage to her vehicle's rear.
The westbound Expressway was reduced to one lane for 45 minutes while the on-ramp from Memorial Bridge was shut down for 20 minutes.
The crash remains under investigation, patrol reported. All three drivers were reportedly wearing seat belts.
Mandan Fire & Rescue, Morton County Sheriff's Department and North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
