A trial for two men facing federal drug charges in a June bust in Bismarck that netted 2,700 oxycodone pills has been continued until March, court documents show.
Deangelo Orlando and Whitney Bearstail were scheduled for trial on Nov. 5. An expected three-day trial is now set to start March 3 in U.S. District Court in Bismarck.

The two are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone. Bismarck police allege they found the pills, worth an estimated $189,000, in Orlando’s possession. Bearstail was driving the car in which Orlando was a passenger, according to a police affidavit. He is listed in court documents as a co-defendant.
Bearstail requested the continuance to allow time to receive and review evidence, court papers say. Government prosecutors did not object, nor did Orlando.
