The state Medicaid advisory committee will meet this week in Bismarck to update the Department of Human Services about the operation of Medicaid, the state and federal program that provides health coverage to eligible low-income adults and other qualifying people.
The meeting is 1-4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Pioneer Room at the state Capitol.

The planned meeting discussion includes amendments for services for people diagnosed with serious mental illness or severe emotional disturbance and an amendment to expand community-based behavioral health services.
