An 18-year-old Bismarck man is one of five people who allegedly arranged a meeting with a man in a school parking lot then assaulted him with a baseball bat, a police affidavit says.

Jeremy Vadner is accused of using a phone belonging to a minor to contact the man and arrange an Aug. 21 meeting in the Legacy High School parking lot. Vadner and two minors allegedly assaulted the victim with a baseball bat and by punching and kicking him, police say. Another minor waited in a car while a fifth kept another person from participating in the fight. The victim received medical attention for his injuries, the affidavit says.

Vadner is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, court documents show. He is in custody in the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. No attorney was listed for him in court documents.
