The Bismarck Parks and Recreation District will dedicate Bismarck’s newest park on Nov. 2.
Heritage Park, 5807 Sonora Way, includes a playground, a loop trail, an open play space, a picnic shelter and a parking lot.
Created and built using the city’s Neighborhood Parks and Open Space policy, which provides for park and green spaces within new developments, the park is located in north Bismarck, off of North Washington Street and 57th Avenue Northwest.
Neighborhood developer Chad Moldenhauer donated the land for the park.
The addition of Heritage Park brings the total number of parks in Bismarck to 63, with a total of 51 playgrounds.
The public is invited to attend the 3:30 p.m. dedication.
