Charges have been filed against the driver of a vehicle that rolled and burned Wednesday morning on River Road in Bismarck.

Christopher Davenport, 21, of Mandan, has been charged with drunken driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain control, according to court documents. He was the driver of a southbound SUV that went through a guard rail, struck a tree and rolled in the 800 block of River Road. The accident occurred about 12:35 a.m.

Davenport and a passenger in the vehicle, 22-year-old Christian Silk, of Mandan, were taken to a Bismarck hospital for treatment of injuries. Davenport was later flown to a Fargo hospital.
