Bismarck firefighters remained at the scene of a mobile home fire late Monday morning at the 700 block of South 12th Street. The fire department responded to the call at 5:37 a.m.

Fire officials have not been able to discern the cause of a mobile home fire from Monday morning and have ruled the case as "undetermined."

"At this time, it remains undetermined unless additional information becomes available," said Bismarck Fire Chief Joel Boespflug.

The three-person family of the home on the 700 block of South 12th Street was displaced after fire engulfed the trailer house.

The family's 12-year old son escaped the fire and was treated at a local hospital. His father said the boy was doing well later in the day of the fire.

Both parents were at or en route to work at the time of the 5:30 a.m. fire.
