Felony drug and child endangerment charges have been filed against a Bismarck woman who police allege was growing marijuana plants in a home where children could come in contact with them.

Michelle Aaron, 33, was arrested Saturday after police responded to a reported domestic dispute at a Bismarck home. Officers found a marijuana growing operation in multiple bedrooms where children often spent time, according to an affidavit. Police said they seized “a large amount” of marijuana plants, a ventilation system and irrigation devices. Authorities are still searching for another person they say is involved in the operation.

Aaron made her initial court appearance Monday. She was being held at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center in lieu of $2,500 cash bail. No attorney is listed for her in court documents.
