Bismarck police responded Wednesday evening to a mobile home in the 2500 block of Centennial Road after a man allegedly pointed a semi-automatic rifle at neighboring residents.
Lt. Luke Gardiner said in a news release that officers responded about 7:14 p.m. The man was disarmed by a neighboring resident and went inside his residence.
Bismarck police set up a perimeter outside the mobile home and were attempting to make contact with him, Gardiner said in the news release issued about 8:45 p.m. Police believed the man was alone in the residence.
Residents were encouraged to shelter in place and monitor Bismarck police Facebook page and Twitter account for updates.
