The North Dakota Department of Health is accepting applications for medical marijuana dispensaries in the Bismarck-Mandan and Fargo regions.
Applications will be accepted until 3 p.m. Aug. 7. The Health Department will open applications for the Grand Forks and Williston regions in September.
A $5,000 nonrefundable application fees is required with all submitted applications. A dispensary registered with the department will be authorized to sell products to qualifying patients and designated caregivers.
A panel will evaluate, score and select one applicant in each region to be eligible for registration.
Jason Wahl, director of the Health Department's medical marijuana division, said the department anticipates accepting online patient and caregiver applications at the end of October.
