Coffee shop open in Hirsch Florist

Kaylee Kuntz opened Jocutla Coffee in her father’s flower shop at 211 W. Main St. in Mandan last week.

Jocutla gourmet, organic Mexican coffee was previously served by Spirit of Life Catholic Church. When the church stopped serving, Kuntz decided to take on the business as an addition to the offerings at Hirsch Florist.

The coffee is grown in the Veracruz region; all of the beans are hand-picked. Mayela Assad, who distributed the company’s coffee, said the beans, which are roasted and processed in Mexico, won top honors for brews in competition in Europe.

For Kuntz, the business venture was a chance to try something new that compliments the flower shop. She serves espressos, cappuccinos, frappes, lattes and more, as well as selling whole and ground beans.

Assad said she was glad to find a new group to take over the coffee business locally. She said many people in Mandan have enjoyed the product.

Hours for Jocutla Coffee are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Women’s health store moving

Sanford Health Just for Women is moving to a new location Tuesday.

The retail store, which serves women shopping for specialty items, such as nursing products, pre- and post-mastectomy supplies, mastectomy swimwear and compression garments, will be located inside Sanford Health Healthcare Accessories, 626 N. Sixth St., Bismarck.

The new store is located near the Sanford Health Medical Center and will give patients better access. Trained fitters help women find the right accessories they need for pre- and post-medical treatment.

New cleaning service

Professional Cleaning Services LLC began operations in Bismarck-Mandan in January.

The company offers commercial and residential cleaning with a focus on green cleaning solutions, President Mark Roningen said in an email.

“Research has shown a strong correlation between most harsh commercial cleaning solutions and increase in allergic reactions and potential lung problems. Green greening products alleviate these issues and provide for a healthier and non-toxic working environment,” he said.

The company offers services 24/7 to fit into customers' schedules.
