Six students get scholarships
North Dakota Dollars for Scholars recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to six Mandan students: Ty Leingang, Connor Wieland, Taylor Reinhardt, Larissa Eckholm, North Skager and Stacey Sjoberg.
In addition to the statewide scholarships, Dollars for Scholars chapters in 66 North Dakota communities awarded scholarships to more than 800 students.
Ranch back in herd program
Diamond J Angus Ranch, Mandan, recently re-enrolled in the American Angus Association MaternalPlus program.
The program represents a commitment to making genetic improvements in lifetime cow herd productivity.
Transit plan meeting slated
The first in a series of public meetings about a Bismarck-Mandan Area Transit Development Plan will be held July 10 in Mandan.
Hours for the meeting are 5-6:30 p.m. in the Veterans Conference Room at Mandan City Hall, 205 Second Ave. N.W.
The meeting will begin with a presentation about the project at 10 minutes after the start time.
