North Dakota's first star of "The Voice," Gwen Sebastian, will headline Medora's first Country Music Series when she takes the stage on July 4. The Hazen Duo and Tigirlily open the concert series with a performance on June 26 and Watford City native and well-known acoustic artist, Jessie Veeder, will perform a concert on July 18.
All three concerts take place at 3:30 p.m. MDT prior to that evening's showing of the Medora Musical, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary season.

Since her appearance on "The Voice," Sebastian has toured with her coach, Blake Shelton, with country superstars Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley on the Locked and Loaded tour and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry.
"Coming back and performing at home really is the highlight of the tour for me," said Sebastian. "I love and am so thankful to be touring with Blake, and with Miranda, but there is something really special about performing for a theater full of friends and family and long-time supporters — you really want to put on a great show for them."
