Two Christian Women’s Club meetings set
Kelley Reuer, the speaker, shares her theme of “Unfolding Grace” during the Christian Women's Club meetings on Thursday. Reuer, a native of Mandan, is in full-time ministry in Kenmare. She loves photography and playing the guitar.
• 9:30 a.m. Brunch Group meets at the Bismarck Eagles Club, 313 North 26th Street. The theme is “Hearts of Love Brunch,” with music by Dan and Laurie Kent. Cost is $8. Make reservations by noon on Monday by calling 258-3397.
• 12:30 p.m. Midday Connection will meet at the Municipal Country Club, 930 N. Griffin St. The theme is “Heart to Heart," with music by Karen Nicholson, a local vocalist. Cost is $10. Call for reservations by Monday at 701-222-8558.
The After 5 CWC Evening Group will meet not be meeting during February or March. The women are invited to come to the morning Brunch Group or the noon Midday Connection Group.
The Christian Women’s groups are affiliated with Stonecroft.
Fellowship marks Black History Month
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and Church, 818 E. Divide Ave. in Bismarck, offers a service on "The Promise and the Practice of Our Faith" in honor of Black History Month. Services are at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
This Sunday, in partnership with UU congregations across the country, worshippers will aim to deepen the understanding of the contributions of black people to the UU faith tradition. As part of the congregation’s commitment to dismantling racism and white supremacy, a special collection will be taken to benefit Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism.
