Mom with a “few” of her many Grandchildren. (October 2017)
The family of Catherine Stockert-Martin would like to SINCERELY THANK …
… The wonderful nurses and staff of Valley View Assisted Living and Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center for the wonderful, tender and loving care of our Mother during her years in both facilities. Not only did you provide a loving home for Mom, but you also brought her family peace knowing that she was loved, well taken care of and watched over.
… To the Family, Relatives and Friends who came from near or far to attend her wake and services and to those who sent heartfelt cards, beautiful flower arrangements, and or donations. A special thank you for the Masses which will be held in her honor, and for the love and condolences sent from afar.
… To Deacon Terry Glatt and Rev. Monsignor Gene Lindemann from St. Mary’s Catholic Parish for the beautiful sermon and readings during her funeral service and for the many prayers and blessings they bestowed upon her many times during her difficult times of health. A special thank you to Country House Deli for the delicious food served during the gathering at the church.
…To Joe Braun of Eastgate Funeral Services for the beautiful preparation and funeral service for Mom; or as you better knew her as, “Grandma Stockert.”
… To Donna and Larry. For always always watching out for and taking care of Mom’s needs. We love you and want you both to know that your efforts and love went way beyond what was ever expected. Your time and devotion was endless.
… To God. For blessing us with the absolute most wonderful, loving, nurturing and kind Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother anyone could have been blessed with. Her legacy of love and faith is one to mimic and strive for.
Although Mom is and always will be missed here on earth, we celebrate her new life in heaven with the Lord that she prayed to so faithfully every day, and to the long awaited reunion with all of her loved ones whom she missed so much.
