“Thank you” comes nowhere near to expressing the gratitude I have toward all who have expressed their concern, offered their prayers and donated to my benefit. I know that there are many people in the world who are in far worse situations and who are far more deserving than I, yet so many of you have found it in your hearts to share your generosity with me. I am still totally overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness. You have truly humbled me. I know that I can’t thank each of you personally, but please know that I am hugging every one of you with my heart.
A special thanks goes out to the ladies of St. Mary’s Altar Society for providing the delicious bars for the benefit, to Patty Delorme and Barb Parisien for the quilt for the raffle and to Karen Kubik for the salsa. All were greatly appreciated.
To my sister, Pauline, who has put up with my tears of frustration on more than one occasion and who offered a hug whenever I needed, thank you!
To my family, who all conspired against me to plan, prepare and host the benefit, thank you! Not only are you wonderful cooks, but you are the most amazing group of people I know! You have been such a wonderful support group, not just throughout the past year, but throughout my entire life. I am so proud to call you “family.”
Finally to Tim, my girls, my boys and all our little munchkins – you are my life. I am so very proud of every one of you. Thank you for just being you!
I know I have been blessed in so many ways. To each of you who has become a part of my life, even in a small way, I just have this to say, “God bless you!”
