Jeffery Martin Strait began his journey to the Spirit World Nov. 7, 2007, at Bismarck. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Crow Hill Recreation Center, Spirit Lake Reservation, Fort Totten, with the Rev. Cornelius officiating. Interment will be in St. Jerome Cemetery, Crow Hill.
A wake will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Crow Hill Recreation Center.

Jeffery was born July 5, 1986, to John and Linda Strait. He attended elementary school at Fort Totten Community School, Mobridge, S.D., Albuquerque, N.M., and Mandan. He graduated from Century High School at Bismarck. Jeffery attended college at Trinity Bible College, Ellendale, and University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. Jeffery was attending United Tribes Technical College, United Tribes, Bismarck. Jeffery worked at McDonald's at Devils Lake; he also worked at a water park and Arby's at Bismarck. Jeffery enjoyed running, working out, hanging out with his friends and being outdoors.
Jeffery is survived by his mother, Linda Stricker; his grandmothers, Winona Fox and Maggie Moxness; his sisters, Holly Fox, Molly Strait and Michelle Cooley; and his brothers, Joe Fox, John Strait, Micheal Cooley, Micah Cooley and Isaiah Stricker.
