Hanks in Fort Yates — they were later divorced. She was the mother of four daughters. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed working outside in her yard planting trees and flowers. Later, she worked as a teacher’s aide at Standing Rock High School and began attending Standing Rock College pursuing a two-year degree in human services. Her last employment was as a cook at Standing Rock Law Enforcement.
She enjoyed traveling and dining out. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she loved visiting and spending time in prayer with the Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery in Richardton.
