Football fans gathered for tailgating prior to the NDSU game on Saturday. Temperatures in Fargo ranged from a low of of 28 degrees to a high of 41 degrees. Wind speeds were as high as 32 mph.

Many were prepared with heaters to keep everyone warm in tents set up in the parking lot. Nevertheless, hats, gloves and jackets were in high demand as flags flapped with enthusiasm.

Food, including brisket, beer cheese soup with popcorn and steaks, was grilled and shared as toasts were made to continuing success to the football season.
