Twila Johnson and Dean Sommerfeld dance during the opening act at North Dakota Country Fest in New Salem on July 11.

ND Country Fest is planning for its fourth year, after recently completing its third.

Country artists Dustin Lynch and Chris Janson are confirmed headliners for next year's country music and camping festival at New Salem. Lynch is known for songs including “Cowboys and Angels” and Janson for “Drunk Girl.”

More announcements on entertainment are expected in coming weeks, according to festival spokesman John Gourley.

“We’ll do a mix of regional talent and national talent,” he said.

ND Country Fest 2020 will be next July 9-11 at the Morton County Fairgrounds. Tickets and camping information are at ndcountryfest.com.

“2018 was great; 2019 was phenomenal; 2020 will be through the roof,” Country Fest founder Luke Shafer said.
