Sleepy Hollow Arts Park in Bismarck is hosting a night of jazz music.

The Wednesday event will feature Bismarck jazz musicians Scott Prebys and Darren King joining with four jazz artists from Kansas City, Mo.: Eboni Fondren, James Mair, Rod Fleeman and Justin Binek.

"Kansas City remains one of the best jazz cities in the world, and the KC jazz tradition is well-represented by these four artists," said Prebys, who is jazz host for Prairie Public.

The concert is at 7 p.m. At 3:30 p.m. that day there will be a short presentation: "The art of Kansas City jazz."

Advance tickets are $12 for "A Night of Great Jazz -- Kansas City Jazz Meets Bismarck Jazz." Tickets the night of the concert are $15. Tickets are available at Prairie Public Radio, Eckroth Music and Direct Travel.

The event is sponsored by the park, Prairie Public, The Radisson, Arts Midwest and The Bistro.
