Guest pianist Tatiana Roitman Mann will join the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra on Saturday for an evening of honoring three of history’s most influential German and Austrian classical composers, including Mahler’s Adagietto from his Fifth Symphony, Brahms’ last symphony and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23.
"I am delighted to bring Tatiana back to the Belle Mehus stage, playing what I know will be an exquisite Mozart Piano Concerto," said Beverly Everett, music director. "The Fourth Symphony of Johannes Brahms is one of the most important works. It is a deep honor to perform and conduct it and will represent much hard work on the part of our musicians."
Other upcoming concerts include:
• Feb. 16: 7:30 p.m. "Dixieland" at Sixteen03 Main Events Center
• March 17: 7:30 p.m. "Feminine Cadence" at the Belle Mehus Auditorium
• April 21: 7:30 p.m. Da Capo at the Belle Mehus Auditorium
