Student athletes earn all-conference


Mandan High School has named student athletes who have earned the distinction of WDA Academic All-Conference for the fall sports season. 

Criteria includes being an athlete of a varsity team in a North Dakota High School Activities Association sport and earning a minimum 3.6 GPA during the first nine-week grading period.

Boys soccer: Alex Allan, Pacey Dosch, Joseph Eberle, John Goettle, Andrew Indovina, James Larson, Charlie Liffrig, Nathan McLeod, Thane Rector, Camden Reimers, Joseph Schon, Levon Schulz. 

Boys tennis: Ben Gartner, Brady Helbling, Ryan Ulrich.

Cheerleading (football): Symantha Cunningham, Bobbie Gieser, Jennifer Ness, Emmalee Shaff, Kayla Wentz. 

Football: Hunter Anderson, Blake Arenz, Seth Berg, Christian Bondeson, Dane Carlson, Robert Couch, Jaxon Duttenhefer, Cole Graner, Caden Hirchert, Dawson Holle, Isaac Huettl, Tayte Jablonski, Anthony Johnson, Elijah Klein, Ben Kleinknecht, Will Kleinknecht, Jayce Lowman, Colton Markel, Jacob Masseth, Adam Moch, Joshua Moe, Noah Olson, Brenden Palmer, Aaron Riopelle, Garret Schaefbauer, Dakota Sweeney, Tyler Thilmony, Parker Zander. 

Girls cross country: Anna Bendish, Acey Elkins, Whitney McGee.

Girls golf: Sydney Gerhart, Rachel Hallendorf, Natashia Tesky. 

Girls swim and dive: Taylor Adamski, Sophia Anderson, Eleanor Dickson, Josey Jackson, Aspen Jewkes, Madison Just, Brooklyn Leingang, Abby Lembcke, McKayla Lindbo, Nellie Masseth, Mayson Sheldon, Sydnee VanderVliet.

Volleyball: Aleah Clarke, Lakyn Darras, Elizabeth Felderman, Taylor Fix, Kendra Froelich, Sydney Gustavsson, Piper Harris, Rylee Hoesel, Kate Kesler, Cambelle Kirchmeier, Olivia Leingang, Taylor Leingang, Avianna Moen, Morgan Sheldon. 

Boys soccer, boys tennis, cheerleading (football), girls cross country, girls swim and dive and volleyball also earned the NDHSAA Team Scholar Award for the fall sports season. 

Criteria for the team scholar award includes NDHSAA sanctioned varsity teams that have a composite 3.2 GPA or better for the current nine-week grading period.
