Chris Koester – Boys Track and Field
Chris finished off his high school track career as one of the most successful track athletes in the last decade. Chris was on the podium as the second-place finisher in the 100-meter dash and the fifth-place finisher in the 4x100, and he was part of the seventh-place 4x200 team at the state meet. He had also qualified in the 200. Over the last four seasons, Chris has been instrumental in helping the Braves finish in the Top Ten. He has been a part of six state-placing relay teams and has been on 10 relays that have qualified for the state track meet. He has placed each of the last four years in the 100 and has qualified in the 200 each of the last four seasons. Chris was last year’s MVP and has been the picture of what track is about — constant improvement and a desire to compete at the highest level.
