Old Ten Bar & Grill on Main Street in Mandan is now open.

Named after the Old Highway 10 which turns into Main Street, the locally owned restaurant seeks to fill a gap in the local dining scene.

"There aren't many family restaurants in Mandan," co-owner Nate Wolf said.

The restaurant will have two areas: a side for those 21 and older that has more of a "bar vibe," and a separate family friendly restaurant side. Food on the menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and a few steaks and salads. Drinks include tap beer, wine and cocktails.

Wolf and his partners, Kurt Miller, Allan Miller and Cody Stern, were excited about the prospect of opening a restaurant in their hometown.

"This is more than a business opportunity," Wolf said. "This is home."
