Eugene Boehm

Eugene R. Boehm, 77, Mandan, passed away Nov. 12, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Jarad Wolf as celebrant. Burial was at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Eugene R. Boehm was born April 17, 1941, to Alex and Elizabeth (Matz) Boehm in Mandan. He married Vivian Morrell on Oct. 30, 1961, in St. Anthony.

Eugene worked for various commercial construction companies, most recently Northwest Contracting, which he retired from in 2010. He was always very proud of his work, especially the work done at St. Alexius. Camping and the occasional trips to the casinos were always great fun. He was a proud member of Knights of Columbus, Mandan Eagles and Mandan Moose, and a scoutmaster for 10 years.

Eugene will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Vivian; daughters, Colleen Boehm, Bismarck, Shelley (John) Brower, Emerado, Sherry (Craig) McDade, Florence, Ariz., and Rhonda (Lester) Lund, Bismarck; sons, Jarvis, Mandan, Kevin (Cynthia), Grand Forks, and Darren (Joyce), Wilmington, Mass.; 17 grandchildren, Cory, Justin, Crystal, Sapphire, Pearl, Jade, Alex, Virginia, Sebastian, Dominik, Nicholas, Kimber, Macy, Anthony, Robert, Kameron and Carter; brothers, Frank (Angie), Mandan, and Phillip (Cecelia), Mandan; brother-in-law, Julius Beehler, Mandan; sisters-in-law, Irene Boehm, Billings, Mont., Lucille Boehm, New Salem, and Alice Boehm, Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lottie (Richard) Pitzer, Angie Beehler, Rose (Leonard) Pitzer and Mary (Don) Suchy; and brothers, Joe, Clemence, Mike (Lorraine) and Tom.
