Two students from Mandan have received North Dakota State University Provost Award scholarships in the amount of $6,000. 

Kelly Knoll, daughter of Patrick and Synthia Knoll, plans to enter NDSU in the fall and plans to major in exercise science.

In high school, she was active in the North Dakota High School Rodeo Association, National Honor Society, Mandan Horse and Saddle Club, New Salem Saddle Club, Junior Olympic Volleyball, Mandan Volleyball Club and band.

Thomas Reinhardt, son of Bryan and Tammy Reinhardt, will enter NDSU in the fall and plans to major in engineering with a minor in architecture.

In high school, he was active in swimming, football, track and field, Special Olympics, National Honor Society, Trust in Teens, Leo’s Club and French club.

The scholarship recognizes students who scored 25 to 28 on the ACT and high academic achievement.
