Foundation aids MHS graduates
Mandan Public Schools Foundation for Education awarded more than $41,000 in scholarships to Mandan High School graduating seniors in the class of 2018.
Recipients were Jasmine Duran, Dylan Fleck, Emily Cicha, Erika Morrell, Margaret Beach, Trae Steckler, North Skager, Kathryn Slavick, Jacob Castillo, Ben Fishbeck, Dalton Sougstad, Eleanor Bierman, Carson Breuer, Gavin Miller, Kayla Mittelsteadt, Myles Schlosser, Jackson Wiese, Taley Davis, Keatyn Skytland, Grace Kuntz, Camren Steckler and Elizabeth Leingang.
NDSU rep to visit high school
A representative from the admissions office at North Dakota State University is scheduled to meet with students at Mandan High School at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday to talk about college choices.
The representative will share information about earning a degree from NDSU, the university's academic programs and its more than 300 student organizations.
Recent grads from NDSCS
Area residents are among the spring and summer 2018 graduates of North Dakota State College of Science.
Spring graduates include Brent Ziniel, associate in applied science in diesel technology, and Trae Bennett, certificate in welding technology. Both are from Mandan.
Summer graduates include Mandan residents Albert Cannard, associate in applied science in electrical technology, and Bobbi Jo Bahm, associate in applied science in dental assisting. Abigail Hulm, New Salem, earned a certificate in dental assisting.
Breuer graduates in chiropractic
Brooke Breuer, of Mandan, graduated with a doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic's main campus in Davenport, Iowa, on Oct. 19.
