Three qualify for sales honor
Dustin Anderson, Dave Berger and Lewis Schock, all of Mandan, have qualified for the 2018/2019 Farmers Union Agents Summit, North Dakota Farmers Union Insurance’s top sales honor.
Eighteen agents from North Dakota qualified for the summit, which recognizes the top performing agents from nine states.
Zuroff makes dean's list
Kennedy Zuroff, of Hebron, has been named to the Deans' List/Explore Center List of Distinguished Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester
Zuroff, a freshman psychology major, was named to the dean's list for the College of Arts and Sciences, which requires a grade-point average of at least 3.7 on a 4.0 scale and a minimum of 12 graded semester hours.
Agents lead in production
Dave Berger, Mandan, was the top producer of auto insurance premiums for North Dakota Farmers Union Insurance for December.
Top-5 producers for the company that month from Mandan were Dustin Anderson, health insurance premiums; Phil Halvorson, life insurance premiums; John Sackman, supplemental insurance premiums; Courtney Schauer, health insurance premiums and supplemental insurance premiums; and Lewis Schock, supplemental insurance premiums.
Fox receives nursing degree
Nathaniel Fox, Mandan, has received a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph.
He was among 387 students who completed degree requirements at the university during the 2018 summer and fall semesters.
Cattle group elects officers
David Dockter, of Mandan, was recently elected treasurer of the North Dakota Beef Cattle Improvement Association.
Kellen Unruh, of Hebron, also serves on the group’s board of directors as a representative from the southwest region.
Adaptive ski event Saturday
Day on the Hill, an adaptive skiing event for people with mobility challenges and vision impairments, will be held Saturday at Huff Hills.
Registered participants can engage in activities in one of two sessions between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

MHS students offered aid
The Mandan Foundation for Education, which has merged with Mandan Dollars for Scholars, plans to award more than $75,000 in scholarships this spring to Mandan High School students.
The application deadline is April 2.
