The North Dakota County Recorders Association held their annual conference in Bismarck in early June, and Nancy Seefeldt of Morton County was elected as Treasurer of the association for 2019.
The N.D. County Recorders Association was formed in 1929 to help North Dakota's 53 counties keep up with new legislation and changes in methods of recording. County recorders keep a record of official documents including patents, deeds, mortgages, liens, and bills and certificates of sale, among others.
