The favorite parts of Marty’s early years were the times spent riding, roping and barrel racing. As he got older, you’d find him behind the wheel or under the hood of a newly acquired car that he loved to show off. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. He and Jodi spent many weekends at Maple Lake working on their cabin, boating, and cruising around in the Jeep. Marty was a handyman extraordinaire who could fix just about anything, and if not, he knew a guy who could. He enjoyed exploring new places and despite his best efforts, a Kid Rock concert was among one of his favorite trips with Jodi.
Grateful for sharing his life are his fiancee, Jodi Senske, Grand Forks; daughters, Lindsay (Nicholas) Bundermann, Starkweather; Allison (Eric) Klock, Grand Forks; Jodi’s daughters, Jessica (Taylor) Stoppleworth, Wahpeton; Lindsay Blair, Missoula, Mont.; grandchildren, Emma and Madison; his parents, Oliver Becker and Naomi Rodgers; siblings Tammy (Chris) Lee, Paul Becker, Joyce (Nathan) Rodgers-Jensen, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marty was preceded in death by his grandparents.
