Hohbein with CHI
Dr. Danielle Hohbein has joined CHI St. Alexius Health in anesthesiology.
Hohbein received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis and completed an internal medicine internship and anesthesiology residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, Minn.
Hohbein is board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Weisz in tax office
Shelly Weisz, Bismarck, has joined the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner as an account budget specialist in the fiscal management section.
She previously was an administrative staff officer for the North Dakota Insurance Department.
Originally from Hazelton, Weisz holds an associate degree in accounting from Bismarck State College and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Dickinson State University.
Streifel with bank
Cheryl Streifel has been hired as the director of human resources and training at First International Bank & Trust and will work in Bismarck.
Streifel has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and training.
Spilovoy on board
Tanya Spilovoy was appointed by Gov. Doug Burgum as a public member of the North Dakota Board of Nursing through June 2021.
Spilovoy is the director of open policy at the WICHE Cooperative for Education Technologies and leads the Z Initiative. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in in English from Union College, a master of arts in education from Hamline University, and a doctorate in higher education leadership and organizational change from Benedictine University.
Jeske with Apex
Josh Jeske has joined Apex Engineering Group as a CADD technician in the Bismarck office. Jeske earned an associate’s degree in civil engineering and survey technologies from North Dakota State College of Science. He has more than 17 years of experience in CADD and as a field technician.
Ellen Huber, with Mandan Business Development, has been elected president of the Economic Development Association of North Dakota.
Other officers include Shawn Wenko, Williston Economic Development Corp., vice president; and Connie Ova, Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp., past president.
Teran Doerr, with Bowman County Development Corp., is among new members of the board of directors.
Tammy Krein, owner of Ken's Flower Shop in Bismarck, completed a three-day hands-on class in Sioux Falls, S.D., focusing on new sympathy designs and trends in the floral industry.
Loren Melvie, an adviser with Legacy Financial Partners, was recently named to the 2017 Ameriprise Financial Chairman’s Advisory Council for the third time, based on business results.
David Wald has been named adviser of the month for October by Securian Financial Advisors of N.D. Inc. based upon production and client service. He is a representative with Securian in Mandan.
