The North Dakota Petroleum Council has inducted Terry Kovacevich into its Hall of Fame. Kovacevich started with Marathon Oil Co. in 1978 and spent the past 10 years of his career in North Dakota leading Marathon’s Bakken activity. He also served as chairman of the NDPC board. The Bakken Cookfests were among his ideas.
Kucera with clinic
Will Kucera has joined CHI St. Alexius Health Neurosurgery Clinic as a physician assistant.
Kucera received a doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Mary and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota.
He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Gayton with Sanford
Dr. David Gayton has joined Sanford State Street Clinic.
Gayton graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Illinois School of Medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill., and is board-certified.
He has worked locally as an emergency medicine physician for 22 years.
Trevor Huffaker, a licensed architect, has been appointed principal and co-owner in the Bismarck office of EngTech.
He previously was an associate principal and architectural department manager at KPE in Omaha, Neb., and Des Moines, Iowa.
Huffaker earned a bachelor's degree in design from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and holds a NCARB certificate. He has more than 20 years of architectural design experience.
Reid gets award
Scott Reid, Mandan, has received the Distinguished Leader Award from the North Dakota Petroleum Council.
Reid is the area manager for Nabors Drilling in Williston and manages operations in North Dakota and Montana. He has worked in the drilling industry for 35 years and served on the NDPC board, 2004-10.
