NDSC welcomes two
Jared Erling and LaRayne Lovgren have been hired by the North Dakota Safety Council.
Erling joins the NDSC as program coordinator for the One Basin - One Way standardized orientation program. He is a Bismarck native and received his bachelor's degree in public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
LaRayne Lovgren joins the NDSC as an office assistant. She is a Bismarck native and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Mary.

Jessica Ahmann has been hired by Mid Dakota Clinic in the Hematology & Oncology department.
Ahmann earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota School of Nursing, a master’s degree in nursing with specialization in the family nurse practitioner program from the University of New Mexico School of Health Sciences in Albuquerque, and a doctor of nursing practice from the University of North Dakota College of Nursing.
Destinee Fitterer, an ophthalmic scribe at Dakota Eye Institute, earned the Ophthalmic Coding Specialist designation awarded for expertise and proficiency in coding for ophthalmology services. She joined the Dakota Eye staff in April 2018.
Mike Schmitz, managing partner of Schmitz-Holmstrom CPA, received the Make a Difference Award at the North Dakota Certified Public Accountants Society convention. The award recognizes contributions made by a society member in community service, education, or the CPA profession.
Schmitz was recognized for his service to the ND CPA on statewide and national committees, his involvement in the local Chamber-Economic Development Council, Light of Christ Catholic Schools and the University of Mary.
