Schwartz achieves

Angie Schwartz, a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Bismarck, has received the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor designation from the College of Financial Planning after completing a course of study.

Schwartz graduated from Dickinson State University with degrees in business administration and accounting and finance.

Two hired by Nexus

Terry Palmer and Landon Jochim are new employees at Nexus Innovations in Bismarck.

Palmer is a software development team lead. He graduated from Mayville State University with a degree in computer information systems and has 20 years of experience as a senior web developer. Palmer previously was a contractor with the company.

Jochim is a solutions specialist. A spring graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in management information systems, Jochim was an intern at TMI Hospitality in Fargo.

Field recognized

Dr. David Field, a family medicine physician at Sanford Health in Bismarck, has been named North Dakota Family Physician of the Year by the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians.

Physicians elect

Several area residents were elected to positions at the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians’ 68th annual meeting in Grand Forks.

New officers are Dr. Aaron Garman, Beulah, president; Dr. Jacinta Klindworth, Beulah; president-elect; and Dr. Kamille Sherman, Dickinson, chairman.

New board members include Drs. Justin Rosenau, Jamestown, and Michelle Placke, Beulah.

Two at meeting

John and Cathy VanMiddlesworth, with NextHome Legendary Properties, attended the National Association of Realtors four-day annual meeting in Boston.

Strebe graduates

Arnie Strebe, president of Starion Bank, has graduated from the Executive Development Institute for Community Bankers. The 19-month leadership development program for executive officers of community banks is a program of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Strebe joined Starion in 2015 as chief human resources officer and in 2017 became president.

Bahmiller joins

Susan Bahmiller has joined the North Dakota Long Term Care Association in Bismarck as the education assistant.

She previously was a program coordinator at Bismarck State College.
