Avon achievement

Debbie Hausauer, Mercer, received numerous awards at the Avon President’s Club Tribute, including Spirit of Avon for the second year.

Her statues included gold for team sales increase, adding more than 100 team members and adding at least 25 qualified recruits; silver for team sales and developing three or more leaders; and bronze for selling at Honor Society level.

She also earned a certificate for mentoring and was seventh in the region in team sales increase, fifth in personal recruiting, 12th in developing and mentoring new leaders and 20th in adding team members.

Two join staff

Curt Janssen and Larry Stark have been hired at Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. in Bismarck.

Janssen is a senior project manager and has 31 years of construction experience, most recently as a senior project manager at Consolidated Construction. Janssen earned a bachelor's degree in construction management at Moorhead State University.

Stark is a superintendent. He received a degree in sustainable construction methods and construction management from Dunwoody, Minneapolis. Stark began his industry experience in 1983, forming his own company, and most recently was superintendent for G4 Construction Management in Eden Prairie, Minn., and Mendota Homes in Little Canada, Minn.

Hagen selected

Bruce Hagen, Weatherization Assistance Program manager at the North Dakota Department of Commerce, was recently selected to serve on the National Renewable Energy Laboratories Standard Work Specifications Maintenance Committee.

Clauson with clinic

Dr. Ryan Clauson has joined Mid Dakota Clinic Gateway Mall, Bismarck, in family medicine.

Clauson graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed a residency at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Erickson joins

Emily Erickson has joined Braun Intertec in Bismarck as a staff engineer.

Erickson has bachelor’s degrees in geological engineering from the University of North Dakota and in geology from the University of Wyoming. She has more than five years of experience in geotechnical construction.

Ohman hired

Brenna Ohman has been hired by the North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives as a finance manager.

Ohman has more than 12 years of experience in finance, most recently as controller for Starion Bank.

A certified public accountant, Ohman is a graduate of the accountancy program at North Dakota State University.

Farland named

Jackie Farland has been named executive director of surgical services at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

She replaces Collette Carlson, who is retiring from Sanford Health after nearly 37 years at Sanford Health.

Farland previously was the manager of nursing inpatient surgery.

Thompson hired

Art Thompson has been hired as executive director of the North Dakota Concrete Council in Bismarck.

Thompson has worked in public relations and marketing and has spent the past decade building, managing and growing ready-mix concrete operations in North Dakota.

He replaces Dave Sethre, who retired after 22 years with the council.

Carlson joins

Jacob Carlson has joined Stockmen’s Supply, Mandan, as a herd health adviser.

After receiving undergraduate degrees at North Dakota State University-Bottineau and North Dakota State University, Carlson earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He most recently was a partner in Missouri Valley Veterinary Clinic.
