Department of Human Services hires one
Arnie Strebe has been hired as chief administrative officer of the North Dakota Department of Human Services. Strebe will also serve as the department’s chief financial officer.
Strebe previously worked for Starion Bank in Bismarck as the bank’s president and chief human resource officer. Prior to that, he was the chief talent and business improvement officer at Evergreen Enterprises and Plow and Hearth.
BPS hires foundation development director
Stacey Lang has been hired as development director for the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation. Lang joined the school district in 2018 as an instructional aide, though most of her career was with The Bismarck Tribune, formerly as the marketing and retail advertising director. She also served as an event specialist at the Bismarck Event Center. Lang has a business administration degree from the University of Mary.
American Bank Center names president
Greg Vetter has been hired as client services president by American Bank Center.
Vetter has 27 years of experience in the banking industry, including working at American in the roles of American Trust Center chief operating officer and later president/CEO, Bank Center First president/CEO, Bismarck region president and American Bank Center Chief Operating Officer. Vetter spent the past seven years serving as the University of Mary’s executive vice president and chief of staff.
Capital Credit Union promotion
Brooke Johnson has been promoted to branch manager at Capital Credit Union’s Sunrise Branch.
Johnson earned an associate degree in business administration from Bismarck State College in 2014. She has been with Capital Credit Union since September 2014, most recently as the assistant branch manager at the Sunrise Branch.
Knife River hires, promotions
Tyler Bakke has been hired as a senior business development analyst by Knife River Corporation. He was previously an accountant with Brady Martz & Associates. Bakke is a native of Minot and holds a bachelor of accountancy degree from the University of North Dakota and a judicial doctorate of law from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
Glenn Pladsen has been promoted to vice president of operations support for Knife River Corporation. Pladsen joined Knife River in 2007 as senior director of information technology Director of IT was later promoted to executive director of safety and information technology. He is a native of New England and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University.

One joins Mid Dakota
Teresa Seefeld has been hired by the Mid Dakota Clinic Physical Therapy Clinic at Gateway Mall.
Seefeld earned her master’s degree in physical therapy in 1998 and her doctorate of physical therapy in 2007, both from the St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Seefeld is a certified lymphedema therapist specializing in chronic swelling of limbs as well as geriatrics, balance dysfunction, orthopedic rehabilitation and osteoporosis.
First Western promotion
Amy Glovich has been promoted to vice president of internal audit and compliance and chief risk officer at First Western Bank & Trust.
Glovich is a Bismarck-Mandan native and graduated with an associate’s degree from Bismarck State College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary. Glovich has been with First Western since July of 2017 and is located in the Bismarck office.
Brady Martz & Associates promotions
Brady Martz & Associates has promoted three employees in the firm's Bismarck office.
Alexandrea Gesellchen has been promoted to manager. Gesellchen graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelor's degree in accountancy. She worked for North American Coal Corporation for three years prior to joining Brady Martz in June 2017.
Renae Jungling has been promoted to manager. Jungling graduated from Valley City State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. She was hired by Brady Martz as a seasonal tax accountant in January 2003 then later transitioned to full time.
Alyssa Streeper has been promoted to senior associate. Streeper graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's in accounting and a master's in accountancy. She started with Brady Martz in June of 2017.
Law firm names shareholders
Seth Thompson and Diane Wehrman have been named shareholders of Vogel Law Firm.
Thompson maintains a labor and employment law, construction law, and general litigation practice in the Bismarck office.
Wehrman concentrates her practice on probate and trust administration, real property, energy and land use, and general civil litigation in the Bismarck office. She graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law .
