Sweep joins

Ian Sweep has joined Pro Forms in Bismarck as customer service representative.

Sweep has more than 10 years of printing and customer service and previously worked at the Bismarck Tribune.

Grain dealers elect

Gary Urlacher, grain division manager at United Quality Cooperative in Parshall, was re-elected president of the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association at its recent 106th annual convention.

Mark Hovland, general manager at Fessenden Cooperative Association, Fessenden, was re-elected second vice president. Among others re-elected were Steve Hepper, grain merchandiser, Hubbard Feeds, Bismarck, and Joe Peterson, operations manager, CHS-SunPrairie, Bowbells, both to the board.

Doll completes

Amelia Doll, Extension agent, 4-H Youth Development, for Burleigh County, recently received the Impact Collaborative Facilitator certificate from the national eXtension Foundation.

At a 2.5-day workshop in Dayton, Ohio, Doll took a project through the levels of Adobe Kickbox and practiced facilitation skills. Sixteen Extension professionals from across the U.S. received the training.

Leaders in closings

Shirley Thomas and Judy Maslowski were Bianco Realty Realtors of the month for December for having the most closed sales.

Adviser of year

David Wald, Bismarck, has been named the 2017 adviser of the year by Securian Financial Advisors of North Dakota based on production and client service.

He has been with Securian since 2008 and is based in Mandan.

Feist interns

Michael Feist, a senior and mass communication major at the University of Mary, is working at the North Dakota Stockmen's Association as a communication intern.

U-Mary requires seniors to intern 40 hours per week for 13 weeks prior to graduation.

Humann recognized

Debra Humann, a financial services officer in the Bismarck office of First Community Credit Union, has been recognized for 30 years of service.

Named shareholder

Lacey Eastgate has been promoted to a shareholder at Ritter Adair & Associates P.C., Bismarck.

Eastgate graduated from the University of Mary with degrees in accounting and business. A certified public accountant, she has 12 years of experience in banking, government and public accounting.
