Nursing homes get designation
This year, 2,975 nursing homes received the designation of a U.S. News Best Nursing Home by being rated high performing in either the short-stay rehabilitation or overall ratings and at least average in the other.
Area facilities attaining the designation include Dakota Alpha, Mandan; Elm Crest Manor, New Salem; Garrison Memorial Hospital Nursing Facility; Hill Top Home of Comfort Inc., Killdeer; Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck; Mountrail Bethel Home, Stanley; Napoleon Care Center; Southwest Healthcare Services, Bowman; St. Alexius Transitional Care Unit, Bismarck; St. Aloisius Medical Center Nursing Home, Harvey; St. Vincent's - A Prospera Community, Bismarck; Strasburg Nursing Home; Wishek Living Center; and Augusta Place - A Prospera Community, Bismarck.
Hess program given certificate
Hess Corp. has been recognized with a Registered Apprenticeship Program certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor-Office of Apprenticeship.
Hess’ Job Experience Training program in the oil and gas industry started in 2017 and includes classroom training via Bismarck State College.
