American Airlines will fly twice daily between Bismarck and Dallas-Fort Worth.
The second flight will begin Dec. 20. Nonstop service between the two communities was first offered in October 2014.
The new flight will depart Bismarck at 6:45 a.m. and arrive in Dallas-Fort Worth at 9:39 a.m.
"Having a new, morning flight to Dallas, as well as the (previous) afternoon flight, allows passengers to connect onward to just about anywhere they want to go in the American Airlines network," Airport Director Greg Haug said in a statement.
The addition of this new flight will bring the total number of daily direct flights out of Bismarck to 15.
Frontier and Allegiant also offer less than daily and seasonal service to Denver and Las Vegas, Phoenix and Orlando, for a total of seven direct destinations reachable from Bismarck.
