The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating an explosion that injured two workers near Grenora in northwest North Dakota on Wednesday.

Scott Overson, director of the Bismarck Area OSHA Office, said two employees were hurt in an explosion at a maintenance shop south of Grenora. An OSHA investigator was on the scene on Thursday.

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office said the blast happened about midday Wednesday. The employees were taken to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries was unknown.
