Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck
Planning & Zoning Commission will hold
public hearings on Wednesday, August 22,
2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North
5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of Wachter Capital, LLC for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for
Rutland Addition, a four-lot subdivision on
1.31 acres. The property is located in south
Bismarck, north of Burleigh Avenue, west of
South Washington Street along the north
side of Rutland Drive (a replat of Lots 5A,
5B and 5C of Lot 5, Block 4, Tatley Meadows V).
• Request of The Diocese of Bismarck for
approval of a zoning change from the

Public Notice Concerning Bismarck’s
CDBG Performance Report
The City of Bismarck invites the public to
comment on its performance in the administration of the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Program for 2017.
Also, the draft Performance Report will be
available for viewing and public comment
starting August 15th for 15 days, ending on
August 30th, 2018. This report evaluates
the City’s administration of its 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Program. CDBG funds must be spent for
activities that primarily benefit low income
persons, alleviate slum & blight conditions,
or address urgent conditions. Activities implemented in 2017 include: accessibility improvements to housing; renovation of a park
as well as facilities serving youth, seniors,
persons with disabilities, and homeless persons; and support services to prevent
homelessness, services for families and
children at risk, and to provide Fair Housing.
The report also evaluates the City’s progress in implementing the fourth year of its 5
year Consolidated Plan which serves as the
City’s overall strategy for using HUD funds.
The report will be available for viewing during normal business hours in the Community Development Office. Written comments
will be accepted until 1 pm on Thursday,
August 30th, 2018.
The City will review and include all comments in the Performance Report which will
be sent to HUD. Comments or requests for
