Sales Account Manager Responsibilities: Promote and sell Bismarck-Mandan as a destination and meeting site to national, regional and state associations and organizations by developing relationships with members, partners and meeting planners. Prospect and secure meetings and events through current and new contacts via telephone, in person, networking, volunteering and tradeshows. Prepare and deliver bid letters and presentations both electronically and in person. Occasional evening and weekend work and some travel, including out-of-state. Qualifications: must hold a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or hospitality; highly motivated and goal-oriented individual; excellent interpersonal skills; strong written and oral communication skills for sales presentations; excellent organizational skills and proficient with Microsoft Office.
