Dunn County Halliday Road Maintenance Shop Advertisement for Bids JE Dunn, as Construction Manager at Risk, is taking bids March 4th, 2020 until 2:00 pm MST for the construction of a road maintenance shop in Halliday, ND. The project consists of the greenfield development of a 15-acre site including mass grading, site utilities, concrete and aggregate paving. Building construction consists of a 15,500 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal building made up of 5,000 sq. ft. of finished space (restrooms, office space, breakroom, mezzanine storage space) and 10,000 sq. ft. of shop space including in-floor heat, bridge crane, and wash bay. Public bid opening will be held at the Dunn County Courthouse in the Commission Room at 2:00 pm MST on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020. No bids will be accepted after 2:00 pm. The scopes of work for which we are accepting bids are: BUILDING & SITE CONCRETE, MASONRY, MISC. STEEL SUPPLY, JOINT SEALANTS, DOORS FRAMES & HARDWEAR SUPPLY, OVERHEAD DOORS, GLASS & GLASING, SKYLIGHTS, DRYWALL, TILING, ACCOUSTICAL CEILINGS, RESILIENT FLOORING & CARPET, SPECIALTIES SUPPLY, CASEWORK SUPPLY, WINDOW SHADES, PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING INSTALL, PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING SUPPLY, MECHANICAL (HVAC AND PLUMBING), ELECTRICAL, EARTHWORK, STRUCTURAL EXCAVATION, AGGRAGATE PAVING, SITE UTILITIES, BRIDGE CRANE. Emailed to Andy Assman with JE Dunn Construction at andrew.assman@jedunn.com. 3. Hand delivered at the public opening All bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. If not, the bid will be rejected, and the contract awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. The Bid Proposal Form and Scope of Work should be filled out correctly. After all bids are opened and read out loud, JE Dunn shall then evaluate the bids, at a later date, and determine which is the most responsible. The Governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids based on past experiences with a subcontractor or a current legal dispute with a subcontractor, and/or rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
