Bismarck High graduates Tommy Sease and Jay Liggins of Dickinson State have earned NAIA All-American football honors.
Sease, a linebacker, was named to the first team. Liggins, a defensive back, was chosen for the second team.
Sease capped his stellar career for the Blue Hawks with 71 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown. Sease was named as one of 11 finalists for NAIA national player of the year. Additionally, he was voted as the defensive player of the year in the North Star Athletic Association.
Sease finished his career as DSU's all-time leading tackler with 317.
Liggins, a junior, totaled three interceptions and 31 tackles, including three for loss, for the Blue Hawks.
Dickinson State won the NSAA regular season title and advanced to the NAIA playoffs, finishing with a record of 9-2.
Sease and Liggins also compete in track and field at Dickinson State.
