10 YEARS AGO (2007): University of Mary’s 37-20 victory at Concordia-St. Paul will go down as one of the most memorable triumphs in school history. The win was U-Mary’s first official Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football win. The U-Mary defense flexed considerable muscle in the victory. The Marauders held the Golden Bears to -9 yards rushing.

20 YEARS AGO (1997): Marlon Minifee, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound shooting guard and small forward has signed an International Basketball Association contract with the Dakota Wizards. Minifee played for Urbana College (NAIA) last season, averaging 15 points and eight rebounds. He is the third player signed by the Wizards for the coming season, joining forward Willie Murdaugh and guard-forward Ted Ellis.

50 YEARS AGO (1967): Minot State scored 48 points in the last half to amass a 61-6 victory over Wahpeton Science in a North Dakota College Athletic Conference football game. Jim Revito caught two touchdown passes and ran for another six points in the Beaver victory. Carmen Lore scored twice on interceptions to lead the Minot State defense.
